Who We Are
RunAddicts, with 1100+ active WhatsApp group members and 4000+ strong Facebook community, run strictly along non-political, non-religious and non-commercial (membership is free) terms by volunteers since 2016 is probably the largest such health & fitness focused group in the country.

What we do:

All RunAddicts activities are focused on promoting the wellbeing and/or advancement of the beneficiaries in the areas of health, education, environment, sports and culture.

With its ever friendly and helpful members, RunAddicts has been promoting a healthy lifestyle and fitness in the neighbourhood. The group has inspired countless many to start on a journey of active, fit and healthy lifestyle, while celebrating the great success of its members in events ranging from 10k runs to 80k Ultra-marathons, intercity runs, multi-day walkathons, pan-India solo cycling expeditions, duathlon and triathlon events. To cap it all, many of the achievers have been the women members of the group, the RunAddicts Pink Brigade!

Apart from daily runs, RunAddicts has conducted 100s of free entry events – weekly runs, 35+ organized monthly friends & family events, Friday Fitness sessions, and many special events – Kids Talent Show, Books Donation Drives, ethnic dress, kids, women’s day themed runs etc.

RunAddicts Anniversary Events are held in the month of June. With huge turnouts (1200+ participants in 2017, 3000+ in 2018 & 19), Annual events are critically acclaimed by the veterans in the running community. Promoted under the tagline “Educate a Rural Child”, the proceeds from these events has resulted in distribution of over 20000+ books, pens and sports equipment to rural children.

RunAddicts also teams up with other like-minded groups. One such was the Safety Awareness event conducted with RR Nagar Police, with over 1200 runners taking part. Another was on Stroke Awareness, in association with BGS Global Hospitals. All these events are conducted free-of-charge.

Who benefit:

RunAddicts members join hands, help and encourage each other to further a fit and healthy lifestyle in the community. Most of the activities are at no cost to the members. Proceeds from Annual Events are used to benefit the rural children.
